The Industrial Room Operator will be responsible for operating packaging machines to produce acceptable quality product.

Our client is a well-known manufacturing company in Belen NM. This is a great work environment and potential temporary to hire opportunity. Offers a complete portfolio of desiccant oxygen absorber and humidity indicator solutions to help protect goods from moisture and oxygen through the entire supply chain. Worldwide manufacturing sites include: Brazil Indonesia Turkey United States and China.

 

Job Description

•Run production machinery

•Ensure proper packaging labeling and quality of product

•Meet production quantity standards

•Accurately fill out production forms as required

•Check product for quality in accordance with order specifications before and during production

•Load paper onto production machines

•Maintain housekeeping in department areas as needed

•Abide by all safety rules and regulations

•Must be able to stand on feet long periods of time

•Housekeeping is a big part of the position

•Must be able to lift to 30+ lbs.

•Must be capable of climbing up 6 step ladders

•Must be able to do overtime and on weekends when needed

•Other duties as required.

 

Position Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.

•Excellent attendance and performance

•Ability to complete simple mathematic calculations

•Ability to read write comprehend and follow work instructions in English

•Must be flexible with regards to shift changes weekend work and schedule rotations

•Able to perform & complete manual tasks as required

•Must have the ability to multi-task
